The interior is nice too, with sport trim seats that are pretty similar to optional Recaro-branded items. Interestingly, most Mk2 seats were made by Recaro, whether marked as such or not. The steering wheel wears an ugly parts store rim cover, but is one of our least favorite OEM designs of this era anyway, and would ideally be replaced with any number of cool period aftermarket items.
